witness find it silly that catholics have statues or a crucifix, and that some will look at these while talking to jesus in prayer.. the bottom line is, althought you're a christian, you can't even pray to jesus or even say thank-you for anything to jesus.. imagine if an apostle would still be alive today, and although he talked to jesus when he was on earth, and all of a sudden after jesus's death, that apostle wouldn't be allowed to even talk to him in prayer, basically shunning him for the last 2000 years.. when jesus died 2000 years ago, did the apostles just shun him from that day like the jw's want us to do, by only praying jehovah?.

If a person is a christian...then he is a brother of Christ.. I don't believe in 2 classes of Christians...one elite, one not...

If Jesus is our 'brother', why couldn't we talk to him? Why, would it be a crime? We know we have to go through Jesus to get to God...right? Heck, we have to probably also go through an angel and then to Jesus and then to God.

That definately fits me. I left in Sept. after 26 as a witness. I'm still very religious but definately NON trinitarian...

To me the Holy Spirit is still the same..as the witnesses believe.. God's active force, God's power, God's breath...

Ray Franz---A Man We Owe Our Thanks To

i've been thinking of how all of our lives have changed from learning about this religion and getting out.

probably no one has done more to help us understand the truth about "the truth" than raymond franz.

of course there were others that questioned dates, prophecies and dogma but it was ray franz that revolutionized the organization.

And in the past I have said that it would take Jesus Christ himself to make me go back. I am now at the point that not even he could make it happen. I would rather burn in hell for all eternity that to be involved with these hypocritical SOBs.

I can assure you.. Loru, Jesus will never want you there, as Jehovah, hasn't been there in decades.. They are just modern-day pharisees...Jesus was a rebel of the organization of Judeism..and he would be that way about the WT....guaranteed...There is no love left, or mercy..there..

Hi there: From..Rev. 16:14..Seems like the 1st battle of Jesus is the Governments at the great war of the Lamb against the governments.. then the ones who have the 'mark of the wild beast (governments)', will be judged..then the ones who don't do good to the brother's of Christ..Math. 25:31... and also the ones who aren't 'sighing and groaning over the detestable things.' That's my take, anyhoo..

The Pharisees, were blocking the people from getting to the kingdom..with their commandments of men rather that God. Like the JW's forbidding 99.9% of the people from partaking of the emblems...and stopping them from showing love to people by disfellowshipping and disassociating people and calling good people "worldly". etc..

They will PAY!

Faithful and Discreet Slave........When they die?

the faithful and discreet slave will pass away soon, at least the member of the gb, the only ones left will be the newly appointed other sheep.

how will the society explain the fact that we are not being led by the faithful and discreet slave anymore and since they give us the "food at the proper time", how ill we be able to get that from the other sheep?

any thoughts?

My opinion.. The Watchtower has been the 'evil slave' since Rutherford came on the scene..except for the few faithful ones in the borg like Raymond Franz...
